Have done diploma in fine arts from C N Fine arts Ahmedabad and post-dip painting from MSU, Baroda in 2002.since then have exhibit her solo shows @ahmedabad, delhi, mumbai and being part of many group shows and art exhibitions across India. she also received Gujarat lalit kala award in 1998 and studio scholarship from ministry of tourism and culture, New delhi 2003-04, she also recipient of free artist residency program at Kanoria center for arts, Ahmedabad 2002.currently practices art at her studio space in Ahmedabad.
STATEMEMT
“When I’m painting, it’s like I’m in a conversation with myself. The charcoal scratches across the canvas, and I’m trying to catch the thoughts and feelings that are swirling around in my head. Sometimes it’s messy, sometimes it’s intense, but it’s always real.- I’m just trying to get it all out. The lines, the shapes, the textures… it’s all just a way for me to process the world and make sense of my own emotions.”
